Las Cabañas del Capitán is a beachfront hotel located in the center of Guayabitos town. Mexican folklore and art can be observed inside the hotel and the surroundings.

The bedroom faces a pedestrian park, which is the main public access to the beach. Bathroom is located inside the bedroom. Additionally, there is a kitchen with basic cooking facilities such a stove, a fridge and freezer, pots and other tools for cooking. A nice private terrace with garden view is located next to the kitchen.Estándar This is a traditional hotel room with a kingsize bed and 2 small sliding beds below. It has a TV with few English speaking channels, a closet with a safety box, a ceiling fan and air conditioning. The bathroom is located inside. A balcony is available that might face our garden, our patio, or with some luck, the beach.This room is recommended for 2 adultos. Two children under 14 may stay free of charge. No more persons allowed.Suite Vista al Mar This type of unit has a bedroom with 2 queen beds, a closet with a safety box, a TV with few English speaking channels, a ceiling fan and air conditioning. The bedroom faces the pool and the ocean (the upper, the better view). Bathroom is located next to the bedroom, so if anybody sleeps in the living room, he or she won't disturb their roommates. Additionally, there is a kitchen with basic cooking facilities such a stove, a fridge and freezer, pots and other tools for cooking. A nice private terrace with garden, pool and ocean view is also located next to the kitchen.This Suite is recommended for 2 adults and 2 children under 14 may stay free of charge. Two extra persons can be added with a fee.

Read MoreWe are a beach front located property in the very center of Rincón de Guayabitos town, next to the main sidewalk to the beach. Our hotel Cabañas del Capitán has more than 40 years of history. It started as an RV Park in the 80s, then became a restaurant early 90s and finally, a hotel in 1994. During the years, some buildings have been removed and/or refurbished. The last big renovation was made in 2014. New standard rooms and ocean view suites were built, and bungalows were renovated.
Mentioned by the Guardian UK as the best place for winter destinations in 2018, we are proud to keep improving day by day. We were also listed in the 12th position of TripAdvisor Traveller's Choice Award for 2019, on the Most Popular Family Hotels in México.
We have 2 pools and a hot tube just a few steps to the ocean, as well as a space to acces and lay on the beach. Two restaurants are also available. El Chiringuito (Beach Bar), located next to the new pool offers fresh drinks and delicious food. Tatema (Compartimos México), shares the mexican flavor of our food and traditions. Both are open to the public. A meeting room up to 60 people is also available.
